MOBIL UNIVIS HVI 13
Univis HVI is a line of premium performance anti-wear hydraulic oils characterised by their unusually high viscosity indexes. They are engineered to maintain close viscosity control over wide temperature range applications. Because of their resistance to viscosity change, Univis HVI oils are recommended for hydraulic systems that are subject to wide temperature variations. Many of these systems are sensitive to changes in viscosity of the hydraulic oil, since they depend on uniform viscosity for hydraulic accuracy. They exhibit optimum flow characteristics at sub-zero temperatures and the oils are resistant to shearing and viscosity loss so that system efficiency is maintained and internal pump leakage is minimised at high operating temperatures and pressures. These high quality hydraulic oils also provide very good anti-wear protection for high-pressure vane, piston and gear pumps. Grease Mobilux EP 0, 1, 2, dan 3 direkomendasikan untuk sebagian besar jenis aplikasi industri termasuk aplikasi medan berat di mana tekanan unit tinggi atau adanya beban kejut. Rentang suhu operasi yang direkomendasikan adalah dari -20ºC sampai 130ºC tetapi dapat digunakan pada suhu lebih tinggi jika frekuensi pelumasan meningkat.
Mobilux EP 004 dan Mobilux EP 023 sangat cocok untuk pelumasan roda gigi dan bantalan tertutup dalam bak transmisi dengan seal kurang baik, juga dapat digunakan di banyak aplikasi industri lainnya di mana minyak roda gigi konvensional tidak bisa bertahan di bak transmisi, kotak rantai, dll. karena kebocoran akibat seal aus atau hilang. Rentang suhu kerja yang direkomendasikan adalah -20 sampai 120ºC untuk Mobilux EP 004 dan -20 sampai 120ºC untuk Mobilux EP 023.

Long oil life – Maintenance saving. Shell Omala S2 G oils are formulated to resist thermal and chemical breakdown throughout the maintenance interval. They withstand high thermal loading and resist the formation of sludge to provide extended oil life capability, even with bulk oil temperatures of up to 1000C in certain applications.
Excellent wear & corrosion protection. Excellent load carrying capacity reduces gear tooth and bearing wear on steel components. Shell Omala S2 G has excellent corrosion protection, protecting steel components, even in the presence of contamination by water and solids.
Maintaining system efficiency. Shell Omala S2 G oils have excellent water separation properties, such that excess water can be drained easily from lubrication systems to help extend the life of the gears and ensure efficient lubrication of the contact areas. Water can greatly accelerate surface fatigue of gears and bearings as well as promoting ferrous corrosion on internal surfaces. Water contamination should therefore be avoided or removed as quickly as possible after the occurrence.
